The AVX CX58-02 is a convex precision espresso filter basket with a 58 mm diameter and a 20 g nominal capacity.
Designed for medium and dark roasts and traditional espresso profiles. Its smaller holes provide greater resistance and a more controlled flow, supporting a normal or coarser grind for a silky, full-bodied espresso with rich crema.
- Convex base with 0.2 mm holes.
- Ridgeless design with smooth walls.
- For 58 mm bottomless portafilters.
Important: Use only with a bottomless (naked) portafilter. The increased basket depth makes it unsuitable for closed, spouted portafilters.
AVX lists compatibility with standard 58 mm systems, including Lelit MaraX, Bianca and Elizabeth; Rocket Espresso; ECM; Profitec; Gaggia Classic; Rancilio Silvia; and Sage/Breville Dual Boiler and Oracle 58 mm models. Check your portafilter fit before use. Not suitable for 54 mm Sage/Breville models.
